In 1990, Mike Cannon, the founder of Cannon Communication, set out to discover and define the perfect presentation — the one that wins hearts and minds — how it looks, how it sounds, and what it says.
Mike analyzed over 20,000 presenters, from business and political icons to thought leaders of all stripes. He polled them and their audiences. He dissected their presentations. Eventually, he discovered what works — and defined it. He distilled the essence of excellent presentation into 26 measurable, repeatable, time-tested standards. And thus was born Presentation Institute.
